How do I set up my new BackDrop™ upholstered headboard?

1. Unfold the BackDrop™ air cushion and cover. Locate the air valve near the zippered opening.

2. Inflate the headboard using the enclosed electric air pump.When you have achieved a snug fit, inflation is complete.

3. Note the 2 openings on the back of the headboard cover. These are for the placement of the wall tabs.

4. Locate the enclosed wall tabs. Do not separate the 2 Velcro pieces from each other. Clean mounting surfaces with isopropyl rubbing alcohol, wipe gently and let dry.

5. Remove the paper backing from the larger wall tab. Line tab up with each opening and place firmly on the air cushion.

6. Now remove the backing from the smaller wall tab. Please note: 2 additional small tabs are included in the package if needed.

7. Rest the bottom of the headboard on the head of your mattress. Make sure that the headboard is centered. Press firmly against the wall. Your headboard is now ready for your enjoyment. Best adhesive results are achieved after 24 hours.

8. If you need to remove your BackDrop™ headboard for any reason, place your hand behind the headboard and carefully separate the front and back tabs from each other. We do not recommend using the wall tabs on wall paper.

9. If you need to remove the small tabs from the wall, we recommend buying an adhesive remover product to prevent damage to your walls.

10. Note: In some climates the headboard may initially experience a slight deflation. This is expected and is not a product defect. Should deflation occur, use the pump to return the headboard to desired firmness.

Within the first 30 days
of purchase, you may return your purchase to us of a full refund - all you pay is return shipping.Just call us at 724.535.7787 x 105 to request a return authorization number. Repack your complete headboard system (slipcover, air cushion, air pump, and attachments) along with your original receipt, mark your RA# on the outside of the box, and mail to the address on the Customer Service/Returns page.Your credit card will be credited promptly upon receipt of the return.


For the first 5 years you own your headboard
, we will replace or repair any manufacturing defects free of charge.Just call 724.535.7787 x105or emailto explain your problem and our customer service team will assist you. Please note that this warranty does not cover damages caused by laundering, misuse, negligence, or any other abuse or misuse by the buyer.


How do I care for my new headboard?

  • All fabrics and leathers may fade over time. Keep furniture away from direct sunlight.
  • Vacuum headboard occasionally, and spot-clean as necessary, using only a water-dampened cloth.
  • For a more thorough cleaning, remove air-cushion, and bring slip-cover to drycleaner.
  • Our slip-covers are not machine-washable.Machine washing will damage the interior filling and will also cause some fabrics to shrink or appear worn.
  • Dust all faux leather upholstery weekly with a soft, dry cloth.
  • A small amount of air loss is normal, and you will want to periodically add additional air to maintain a comfortable firmness.


What do you charge for delivery?

Our lightweight headboards are very inexpensive to ship. We ship Fed Ex Ground, and the shipping charges are often less than $10.This amount will vary based upon your location and the size and fabrics of the headboard(s) ordered.


How quickly will I receive my order?

We ship most orders from our Distribution Center in Wampum, PA. within 1-3 business days, and Fed Ex ground will deliver to most locations within the 48 contiguous United States in 2-5 business days.


Do you charge sales tax?

We are required to collect sales tax on orders shipped to Pennsylvania and New York State.
